The
head office to our little family business is in an exquisite mountain
village called "Pine Mountain," near Frazier Park, California, between
Los Angeles and Bakersfield. Our village has four seasons, as you can
see in this picture.
In
the background, beyond the pond, is the village center where
you can find a log cabin post office and a general store. We
invite you to visit one fine weekend.
We
love living and working here. So, we want to say a very warm thank
you to all our wonderful customers, who are making it possible for my
husband and I
to live and work in this beautiful place.
We adore living up here in the mountains, but we are still waiting for
a cell phone tower. It will come. When I am in the mountains I cannot
access my cell phone (323 864 9200) for the information. We can usually
be reached on the cell phone in the middle of the week (Tuesday,
Wednesday & Thursday, which is Picture Lady time). We
prefer to schedule shows on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday. When we
started in business Friday was a good day for a gallery but this
changed with the direct deposit of the checks. Now many businesses give
the Friday off, and for those that don't, the employees still like to
hotfoot out at the end of the week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are
good for Picture Lady galleries in corporations. I can always
be reached on the land line (661 242 1010) from Friday through the
following Monday. On the long weekend which includes Monday and the
Friday, I work at my desk, mainly on Picture Lady promotion or on our
other businesses. Feel free to call as late as 9 p.m. If
you are a new customer, I want you to know that in all the years I have
been in business, I have stayed true to my original purpose, which is to
find
quality international art and to bring it to my customers at affordable
prices.
My
husband Peter is in charge of the Picture Lady
finances, legal matters and website. He was born in Europe and I was
raised in Africa, so the company has an international flavor.
While I have a degree in the Arts, I have spent most of my life
working with computers. Peter also knows and loves the computer. So, together we
have created an
entertaining website to enhance our corporate galleries, and
to serve our corporate
customers when we are not visiting at their place of work.
You
will find many attractive pictures
in our Catalog. We
have
something for everyone. At the high end, we have original art and
limited editions, as well as the very popular Art-Tex (a
new technique that applies texture to a lithograph and turns it into a "virtual oil
painting"). 
By
survey we have found that our customers prefer to deal with a caring,
knowledgeable person, who will take the time to answer their
questions. You tell us
what you want and need, and we will go out of our way to satisfy each
request. If you do
not find a preferred artist or print, or even a wanted subject, take
the time to ask us.
Chances are that we can find it. We always enjoy to hear from you.
