 How often do you visit each location?

The schedule is arranged in liaison with the person in charge of scheduling events at the company we visit. Typically, we visit a location for one day once, twice or three times a year. Some accounts where we have many customers may be scheduled two days in a row. Back to Top

How can I get you to visit our company/hospital?

Send us an email with information about the hospital or corporation where you work. Tell us the location, approximate number of employees and how we can reach the person in charge of scheduling events at your location. It is also a good idea for you to contact this scheduling person yourself and tell them that you would like to have a Picture Lady Gallery. Back to Top

How much work will a Gallery be for our staff?

Very little. The Picture Lady takes pride in doing as much of the work as possible and presenting a hassle-free event that is enjoyable for everyone. Of course, the success of the event depends to a large degree on how well it has been promoted internally, so it is important to distribute the fliers and other promotional materials we provide to best advantage. How will a Picture Lady Gallery benefit our company? 

In several ways. Art raises morale. Beautiful pictures are exciting to look at and purchase. There is the convenience of not having to go out to shop for art. And then there is the commission check after the event, which can be used for charity or to improve facilities for the employees, which "sends a message" of a company that cares. Back to Top

How do your prices compare to elsewhere?

Very favorably. You typically pay 20-70% less than elsewhere. We have a wide variety, so there is something for everyone. Prices range from $5 up to about $450. We also carry art that you would not be likely to find anywhere else, including one-of-a-kind originals and our beautiful Art-Tex™ reproductions that may even look better than the originals! Can I order on the Web?

Yes. In the Catalog, find the picture you want to get and click on it. Next, select a frame, or choose Unframed if you want to purchase the print only. Then, click Buy Now to purchase. 

Please note that certain prints and frames may become unavailable. For that reason, your credit card will not be charged until the order has been filled. Of course, if there is any problem with your order, we will email you. Back to Top

Can you ship pictures to me?

 Yes, we can ship to anywhere within the United States. We ship prints in tubes and framed textured art. With the exception of a few small (8"x10") pictures, we do not ship glass-covered framed pictures, because the glass frequently breaks in transit. However, if you are located at or near one of the locations we visit, we can arrange to bring it with us the next time we visit there.

Prints without frames can of course be shipped directly to you. Back to Top

Do you have a store?

No, we don't have a store. We have a mobile gallery and not having a store allows us to keep our overhead low and pass the savings on to you. Back to Top

What is Art-Tex?

Art-Tex is a proprietary technique of enhancing lithographs that add texture to the picture, makes its colors more brilliant and besides adds strength and durability. Not all pictures lend themselves to Art-Tex treatment, but the ones that do become very beautiful. It is comparable to transfer on canvas, but we find it superior. Depending on the frame, a typical 24" x 36" Art-Tex reproduction sells for about $145 to $165. Back to Top

Do you sell originals and limited editions?

Yes. We do carry original oils and at some of our galleries we have one or more artists present to display their art. We carry some limited editions too. Our emphasis, however, is on bringing you beautiful things at affordable prices and we avoid carrying very expensive originals. Back to Top

Do you sell anything else besides pictures?

Yes, depending on the season and the location, we may carry figurines, rugs, dolls and other items. We are always looking for new products that may enhance your home and your life. Let us know if you have any special requests. Back to Top
